Ahmedabad:
"This time we have tried to make a result oriented pitch.
It would depend on how the bowlers exploit it," Parsana told reporters here.
"The pitch has 8-10 mm of grass on it and the surface is hard. There has been a change in climate over the few days and the temperature has also come down considerably," he said.
"Considering the changes, the pitch is likely to help the seamers in the first couple of days," Parsana said.
He said that the pitch was new and different from the one on which India played South Africa April last year.
