New Delhi:
Another Pakistan minister on Tuesday pin-pointed a possibility of match-fixing in Pakistan vs New Zealand semi-final match of the just-concluded Champions Trophy but this time the finger has been raised on India.
A senior Sindh minister claims that India influenced the umpires into giving a wrong decision during the Pakistan vs New Zealand semis, since they were cut up with their arch-rivals for knocking them out of the event.
He stated the incident where Umar Akmal, when playing on 55, was wrongly given out by Umpire Taufel, which was also a crucial point in the game.
Umpires are usually known to make mistakes but does that mean its match fixing?
