Pakistan rode on Yasir Shah's stellar show, who became the first leg-spinner in 20 years to take a five-wicket haul in a Test innings at Lord's to leave Pakistan well-placed at stumps on Day 2.

Earlier, Pakistan were all out for 339. Misbah-ul-Haq, who resumed at his overnight score of 110, was out for 114. Misbah was playing his first Test in England and rode to his side's rescue, coming to the crease with Pakistan on 77 for three.
Pakistan, who also had Asad Shafiq (73) to thank for digging them out of a spot of early bother, closed on 282 for six after choosing to bat and making England toil in the field for much of the day. Chris Woakes, who ended Thursday's play with figures of 4-45, finished with figures of 6/70 while Stuart broad took 3/71.
