In reply, a blistering fifty from Rishabh Pant and Quinton de Kock's steady knock of 46 helped Delhi Daredevils crush Gujarat by eight wickets with 16 balls to spare. Gujarat Lions have lost only two games in the 2016 IPL but both their losses have come at home in Rajkot.

Gujarat Lions have not enjoyed the comforts of their home ground in Rajkot. In four matches, they have won two and lost two. One was a 10-wicket defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad while the other was a 23-run humbling at the hands of bottom-ranked Kings XI Punjab. Despite these two confounding losses at home, they are still on top of the table with 12 points and a win will get them closer to the knock-outs.

The Aaron Finch Conundrum

Aaron Finch, who started the tournament with three consecutive fifties, has not played since the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore due to a sore hamstring. He was spotted having a good workout in the nets, suggesting that he might come back at the top of the order. This could mean either Dwayne Smith or Brendon McCullum could sit out.

However, for Raina's team, they will be desperate to avoid the batting collapse which they suffered against Axar Patel. The complacency in their batting was evident and Gujarat Lions will have to pull their socks up if they have to avoid a slip-up.

Delhi Daredevils Eye Revenge

Delhi Daredevils have shown that they can take revenge when the time is right. After Kolkata Knight Riders humiliated them in the opening game by bowling them out for 98, Daredevils bounced back with a wonderful 27-run win at the Kotla. Having lost to Gujarat Lions by one run, they will once again be looking to turn the tables.

Delhi Daredevils have found players who have bailed them out of tough situations. In the match against KKR, the duo of Sam Billings and Karun Nair put on a magnificent stand to boost DD while Carlos Brathwaite demonstrated his big-hitting.

The West Indies all-rounder has said that the Delhi Daredevils dressing room is fun and the happy atmosphere has contributed to their success. "There is lot of stress on processes and solid preparations. It's a fun dressing room. Players are good friends off the field and that unites them on the field under pressure."

With the bowling proving to be consistent, they might not make any changes to the squad
