After being put in to bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost Chris Gayle early but the Kohli-ABD show accompanied with a little cameo from Sarfaraz Khan towards the end propelled them to a humongous total of 227. In reply, David Warner provided a good start to Sunrisers Hyderabad but four wickets in four overs pulled the plug from the chase and at the end Bangalore won the match comfortably. 23:50 hrs IST: That's it. Thank you for joining us for today's match in Bengaluru. See you all tomorrow for the clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.ÂÂ
AB de Villiers (Man of the Match):  "Absolutely love playing here. The crowd always gets behind us. Loved batting with Virat and enjoyed myself. The bowlers have played together for quite a few years. All of a sudden it looks like a very good combination of youth and experience."
Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper):  "We lost the toss. Didn't get to do what we wanted. But is was a good effort to get to close to 230. Last year, me and AB had a good partnership in Mumbai. He hit balls as only he can. It was a pleasure playing with him."
David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper):  "It hurts when one bowler goes down. Tough ask for the boys to go out there and get 228. Nehra will be out for a couple of games. Mustafizur bowled well throughout the World Cup and he's definitely a find."

19:08 hrs IST: RCB's batting vs SRH's bowling - is surely going to be the battle which will more or less decide the fate of this match. Hope this one is gonna be a cracker of a game!!!!
19:07 hrs IST: Hello and welcome to the coverage of fourth match of the Indian Premier League season 9. Star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the new-look Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium this evening. ÂÂ
The RCB vs SRH match could boil down to a contest between Bangalore's batsmen and Hyderabad's bowlers.
Kohli is leading a formidable T20 team that includes Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers. The inclusion of Shane Watson will make RCB's batting one of the strongest in the tournament.
Warner's ability with the bat is also well-known. However, Shikhar Dhawan's form at the top of the order will be crucial for SRH. Kane Williamson will surely give the middle-order a touch of solidity. SRH will miss the injured Yuvraj Singh.
The better bowling team can make the difference on Tuesday night. In terms of experience, Sunrisers look a better outfit with Ashish Nehra and Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman very capable in controlling runs in the death overs.
RCB will miss Australian bowler Mitchell Starc and West Indian spinner Samuel Badree. Left-arm pacer Starc was the lynchpin of the RCB attack last season and is now recovering from injury. Badree hurt himself during the T20 World Cup final versus England. Kiwi pacer Adam Milne will perhaps be Kohli's go-to man.
