Misbah-ul-Haq Wants to Continue as Pakistan Test Skipper Till England Tour
Misbah-ul-Haq had earlier said he would retire from Test cricket after the recent home series against England in the UAE but then put on hold his retirement after Pakistan Cricket Board's request.
Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq on Wednesday made it clear that he was not retiring from international cricket and is ready for the challenging England tour, scheduled to begin in July. (Waqar Younis to Remain Coach till the end of England Tour)
"The reason I am playing domestic cricket is because I want to tour England and lead the side," Misbah told reporters at the national stadium.

The 41-year-old batsman again showed his class with match winning innings of 85 and 60 in the day-night five-day final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
"I want to play in England that is why I am active in domestic cricket because I see that tour as a big challenge for our standing as a top Test team," he said.
Misbah, who captained Sui Northern Gas team and led them to their third successive Quaid Trophy title, also admonished the young players who featured in the match as being irresponsible.
"I am disappointed and I think these youngsters who are future of Pakistan cricket need to understand there are no short cuts in Test cricket. You have to be prepared to bat for at least three sessions to get a hundred."
"You have to show respect to a bowler. You have to wait for the bad ball and play to your strength. You can't try a big hit after two or three balls," Misbah said.
