'Jos Buttler, South Africa's Dangerman'
Pietersen stated the South Africans would be ecstatic if Jos Buttler is left out of the English side for the first Test in Durban starting next month.
Buttler had a torrid time during the Test series against Pakistan in the UAE and was even dropped from the third Test. But the wicket-keeper batsman hit back in style in the One-Day series, smashing England's fastest ever ODI century, in 46 balls, and finished 116 not out as Eoin Morgan's side took the series 3-1.
"He should definitely be there playing but I don't see how they can play him in the first Test match, having dropped him from the last one," said Pietersen at the launch of his new KP24 foundation.
"And I know South Africa are really, really happy about that. I've been there, I was there for the two weeks when they dropped Buttler."
