Virat Kohli's Pakistani 'Lookalike' Sets Twitter Abuzz
An unnamed Pakistani youth has reportedly been getting TV offers after his photos went viral on Twitter. The reason? His apparent facial similarity with Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli is regarded as one of the biggest stars in international cricket today. The fiery batsman is India's pride and opposition's nightmare but on Twitter currently, it is his Pakistani 'lookalike' who is making waves.
A photograph of a Pakistani youth is going viral on the micro-blogging site because of an apparent resemblance to India's Test captain. Several fans from Pakistan, India and elsewhere have been sharing the photograph - some calling it an end to Pakistan's search for Kohli! In fact, some Pakistani media agencies have even reported that the man has been getting TV and advertisement offers.
Seen wearing the national jersey of the Pakistani team, the man sports a stubble like Kohli but any other resemblance is best left to the judgement of people doing the comparison.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that Kohli's 'lookalike' has been seen in Pakistan. National cricketer Ahmed Shahzad - considered a bright prospect in international cricket - is also said to have similar facial features as Kohli. Once again, it is about how one looks at the two but the fact that the unnamed youth mentioned above is setting Twitter abuzz hints that most agree on a resemblance.
