Shane Warne Joins Tinder for Fun, Gets 'Interrogated' by Women
Shane Warne says he has gone on two dates through Tinder -- one being decent and the other was 'horrific.' The real problem that the former cricketer says he is facing is to convince people that it really is him on the online dating app.

Legendary spin bowler Shane Warne recently joined Tinder - an online dating app - but said that he found most women doubting the authenticity of his account. Known to bowl maidens over, the Aussie mega-star has even gone on a few dates just to convince people that the profile really does belong to him.
Warne, who was previously married to Simone Callahan and was engaged to actress Elizabeth Hurley, joined Tinder and wrote that he is "very, very, very single." That, however, was not good enough to convince women that it was the former cricketer himself and says he received several inquisitions. "People say, 'Why are you trying to impersonate Shane Warne? "I go, 'OK, yeah, I am.' And then they go, 'No! It's really you!' And you go, 'OK, it is.' And then they go, 'No, it's not!' So I'm on there for the fun value," said the 45-year-old Warne.
The cricketer indeed may have joined Tinder for the fun of it all - or at least that's how it all began. "Midnight or one o'clock in the morning, me and a lot of my mates are sitting around the bar after a long day playing, and everyone was talking about these different apps, Grindr, Tinder," he said. "I said, no. But we got on the App Store, joined up."
The father of three though has clarified that he is not really looking for love at the moment but he is not averse to the idea either. "I'm not looking for it. But if it happens, it happens," Warne said. "I've got three wonderful kids; I'm having fun; I don't feel like I need it."
"But it gets quite lonely at times, when you travel all the time. There's one or two nights a week when you haven't got your kids and you haven't got your mates, and you just want to chill. It's nice to share things with someone. Say how you're feeling about things, how their day was. Cuddling up on the couch. I like that stuff," said the retired legend.
