Day two of the final unofficial Test provides a good chance to hosts India A to dominate after the side lost and drew the opening two matches against West Indies A. All the updates:

# A hundred for Cheteshwar Pujara as Virender Sehwag is out. India A 334/3 after 95 overs at stumps, lead West Indies A by 66 runs. Pujara 139* is batting alongside Abhishek Nayar 10*. Sehwag made 38 off 49 balls before falling to Nikita Miller.

 

# Gambhir falls, for 123 off 236 balls. He hit 11 fours before being bowled by Narsingh Deonarine.

 

# Century for Gautam Gambhir: All eyes were on him at the start of the match and today, Gambhir has shown that form has not eluded him. The left-handed batsman has dealt with West Indies A attack with poise which has defined his career and with Cheteshwar Pujara - who too is approaching the three-figure mark - has built a sturdy partnership. # Gambhir has managed to make the West Indies A bowling unit look rather rickety as he has built well on his fifty and consolidated the innings with Pujara who has hit a fifty for himself as well.

# Half-century: Gambhir slams a confident fifty. Powering his knock - peppered with seven boundaries - with a solid determination, the veteran has been rock-steady so far. (India 88/1, 29 overs)

# Gambhir has looked solid in his innings so far. Of the 34 he has scored off 55, 20 runs have come in boundaries. Having Pujara for company wil lfurther help the south-paw, although he has a lot more experience compared to his skipper.

# Quick strike by West India A: VA Jagadeesh (16 off 40) looks to get some momentum but his push is met with a stronger reaction. Delorn Johnson breaks his defences and smells timber for his effort, early into the morning. (India A: 35/1, 11.3 overs)

# Weather forecast: It is going to be another pleasant day of cricket with the slight possibility of isolated drizzles. Mercury to hover between 21 and 29C.

# Focus on the opening day on Wednesday was on Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir - veterans who are  trying to show that they still have their famed skills intact. India A skipper Cheteshwar Pujara however opted to field after winning the toss. His bowlers were forceful and West Indies A collapsed on 268, providing a comfortable backdrop to Day two's action.
