According to the met department's website, there will be heavy rains on Sunday and Monday with the temperatures dropping to 23 degree Celsius on Sunday and further to 22 degree Celsius on Monday.
The forecast has indicated that maximum temperature for next two days will drop to 28 degree Celsius from Saturday's temperature of 29.2 degree Celsius.
The organisers of the match are keeping their fingers crossed as there is a strong possibility of the ODI being washed out due to rains.
The Met department director K V Singh said that wind circulation off south Konkan and Goa coast has led to cloudy weather, which will result in the rains.
He said that monsoons are yet to withdraw from the state.
India lead the three-match ODI series 1-0 after winning the second one-dayer at Visakhapatnam by five wickets, after rains washed away the first match at Kochi on October 17 without a ball being bowled.
