Mary Kom wishes Yuvraj Singh on comeback

London Olympics bronze medallist M C Mary Kom on Thursday wished cricketer Yuvraj Singh ahead of his much-awaited comeback to the Indian team after successfully battling cancer.

London Olympics bronze medallist M C Mary Kom on Thursday wished cricketer Yuvraj Singh ahead of his much-awaited comeback to the Indian team after successfully battling cancer.

"I wish all the very best for the future to Yuvraj," Mary Kom told reporters here after a felicitation ceremony.

Yuvraj would be playing the Twenty20 match against New Zealand in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, his first after being diagnosed with a rare blood cell germ cancer.

The Manipuri pugilist had won the bronze medal at the London Games in the 51-kg category.
