New Delhi:
Before the January 19 auction for IPL 3, franchisees had an opportunity to trade players but only Kolkata and Delhi were interested in such an exchange.
The Knight Riders had signed Henriques ahead of the second edition of the IPL for $300,000 and the 22-year old all-rounder - part of the New South Wales Blues team that won the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 competition -- had limited success for the Kolkata outfit.
Owaish Shah was signed up by the Daredevils for $250,000 and the Englishman played four matches, scoring a total of 74 runs at a strike rate of 105.71.
He was part of the Delhi Daredevils team in the second edition of the tournament in South Africa, but did not get a game. However, the stylish English batsman did turn out for the Delhi franchise in the Champions League Twenty20 competition in India last year.
Tiwary, who was signed up by the Delhi Daredevils for USD 675,000 in the inaugural auction of the IPL, meanwhile returns home, according to the official IPL website.
The Howrah-born 24-year old is rated very highly as a batsman and is seen as an international in the making.
