Former Indian captain Kapil Dev on Tuesday wished Yuvraj Singh, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for germ cell cancer in the United States, a speedy recovery.
"I wish him all the best. My prayers are with him," said the 1983 World Cup winning skipper.
"He is a brilliant player. He has done a great service to the nation and I wish he recovers soon and resumes playing for the country," said Kapil on the sidelines of a function to inaugurate a website.
The 30-year-old Yuvraj has been in the US since last month and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in the Cancer Research Institute in Boston.
The left-hander, who played a stellar role in India's World Cup triumph last year, has played 274 ODIs, scoring 8051 runs at an average of 37.62.
