James Anderson has been the leader of England's bowling attack for the last decade. His ability to swing the ball in Tests, combined with magnificent accuracy and prowess in every condition, make him one of the world's best in bowling at the moment.
On Friday, Anderson added another feather to his huge cap of achievements when he picked up 5/16 to bundle Sri Lanka out for 91 in Leeds. When he picked up the wicket of Dasun Shanaka for 0, he achieved several statistical landmarks.
438 - Number of wickets taken by Anderson following his five-wicket haul, going past India's Kapil Dev. Anderson achieved the feat in his 113th Test, while Kapil Dev took 131 Tests to achieve the mark.
20 - Number of times Anderson has taken a five-wicket haul in Tests, putting him third in the list of all-time England bowlers. Ian Botham has taken 27 five-wicket hauls, which is the most by an English bowler, followed by Sydney Barnes, who picked up 24 five-wicket hauls in just 27 Tests.
2 - Number of five-wicket hauls against Sri Lanka in Tests. Only one more bowler has taken two five-wicket hauls in Tests against Sri Lanka. Graeme Swann took 6/82 at Galle in 2012 and 6/106 at the Premadasa stadium in the same series. Anderson is the only bowler who has achieved this feat in both Sri Lanka and at home.
2 - Second landmark for Anderson in Tests at Leeds. In 2015 against New Zealand, he became the first England bowler to take 400 wickets when he had Martin Guptill caught by Ian Bell. So much for the 'Hate'.
2 - Anderson becomes second England bowler to take a 10-wicket haul in Tests against Sri Lanka. His match-haul of 10/45 is his second-best haul in Tests. Graeme Swann picked up 10/181 in 2012 at the P Sara Stadium in Colombo.
276 - The number of wickets Anderson has taken at home, putting him on top of the list. Fred Trueman is second with 229 wickets at home in 47 Tests.
6 - Anderson's position in the all-time list for bowlers in Test cricket. Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne, Anil Kumble, Glenn McGrath and Courtney Walsh are the other bowlers to be ahead of him in the list.
