Irfan not to play against Delhi

After missing Irani Trophy and T -20 tournaments earlier this year, medium pacer Irfan Pathan has preferred to opt out from the 1st Ranji Tie against Delhi

After missing Irani Trophy and T -20 tournaments earlier this year, medium pacer Irfan Pathan has preferred to opt out from the 1st Ranji Tie against Delhi beginning on November 3 due to knee injury.

He is replaced by Shatrunjay Gaekwad, who was dropped from the team announced by the selection committee of Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) a couple of days ago.

In Irfan's absence, Connor Williams will lead the team and Pinal Shah would be his deputy.

Connor Williams (Capt), Satyajit Parab, Yusuf Pathan, Jacob Martin, Azhar Bilakhia, Pinal Shah(V. Capt, WK), Rakesh Solanki, Shatrunjay Gaekwad, Rajesh Pawar, Sankalp Vohra, Ketan Panchal, Swapnil Singh, Salim Yusuf Veragi, Ajitesh Argal and Murtuja Vahora.
