For India, Jasprit Bumrah scalped four wickets while Mohammed Siraj took three wickets.

NOOO!!!!! This cannot happen!!!! Jasprit Bumrah almost took his 5th wicket of the day and India had bundled out Australia but the star pacer ends up crossing the line and bowled a no-ball. Nathan Lyon gets trapped by Bumrah's pace and gets caught by KL Rahul. However, the umpire signals no-ball and Lyon survives.

Cummins is currently batting at 38 and inching closer towards his half-century.

Just like the first innings, Bumrah once again gets better off the dangerous Travis Head and removes him for 1. Head hops on and tries to get a boundary but the shot lacks powers as it lands safely into the hands of Nitish Kumar Reddy at the mid-wicket. It is Jasprit Bumrah's 200th Test wicket.

Smith tries to get a boundary off the half-volley delivery from Siraj. However, he ends up the getting the outside of the bat as wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant gets an easy catch behind the stumps. Third wicket gone for Australia as Siraj celebrates animatedly.

In this session, Australia have lost their openers Sam Konstas (8) and Usman Khawaja (21). Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj scalped one wicket each for India. Earlier in the session, India got bundled out for 369. 

The duo of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith is forming a stable partnership for Australia and taking them ahead in the game. However, they are also being cautious in their approach, having lost two wickets already. In the previous over of Akash Deep, the duo scores three runs as Australia go past the 50-run mark.

UHH HOO!!! This would have been really painful!!! Just like the previous innings, Australia star batter Marnus Labuschagne gets it at the wrong spot. This time, the culprit turns out to be pacer Jasprit Bumrah. On the last delivery of the previous over, Bumrah beats Labuschagne on the inside edge and strikes him on the inner thigh. Earlier in the first innings, Mohammed Siraj had hit Labuschagne in a similar manner.

After the dismissal of Sam Konstas for 8, the duo of Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne has somewhere stabilised Australia's innings. They are slowly taking singles and keeping the scoreboard moving for the hosts. Jasprit Bumrah vs Sam Konstas Round 2 is likely to be the focal point of the game while Akash has been preferred as the second strike-bowler to begin with, over Mohammed Siraj.

Pat Cummins takes the ball a the start of Day 4, with India's Nitish Kumar Reddy on strike. India need to press the restart button and look to reduce Australia's lead as much as possible. 

We had a few weather interrupts on Day 3 but the forecast today is much better than yesterday. The chances of rain at the MCG remain negligible, both on Day 4 and Day 5. We might be in for a Test match classic for the last couple of days. 

After rain resulted into early stumps on Day 3, we are set to see the match resume at 4:30 AM IST (10:00 AM local time) today. Nitish Kumar Reddy is likely to try and keep the strike with him, as much as possible. But, Mohammed Siraj would also need to curb his attacking instincts. Interesting times ahead.
