The trophy for India-Australia One-Day International series was on Friday unveiled at a glittering function here.
Designed by Frazer and Haws, in silver with 24 carat gold plating, the trophy was unveiled by Rajiv Rajagopal, CEO of Mobile Services Bharti Airtel along with the captains of the India team M S Dhoni and Australia's Michael Clarke.
The first of the three-match ODI series will be played here on October 17.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajagopal said since both cricket as sport and Airtel as a brand cater to cross-section of the audiences, the two share a great synergy and have a lot in common.
Bharti Airtel has been awarded the series sponsorship rights by the BCCI for all international cricket matches to be played in India till 2013.
