# India's seven-wicket triumph is their joint-second biggest win in terms of wickets at the World Twenty20. They had previously won two games by seven-wicket margin against Afghanistan and Pakistan. (Read: India batting yet to be tested, says MS Dhoni)

# India have won their first World T20 game in three outings against the West Indies.  They had lost the first two -  by 7 wickets at Lord's on June 12, 2009 and by 14 runs at Bridgetown on May 9, 2010.

# India's triumph by seven wickets is their biggest against the West Indies in four games in T20Is - their only previous win was by 16 runs at Port of Spain on June 4, 2011.

# India have won 14 and lost eight out of 24 played at the World Twenty20 - winning per cent 63.04 (tied one and NR 1)

# West Indies (129/7) have recorded their lowest total against India in T20Is.

# Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3-0-3-0) has equalled a record for best economy rate (1.00) in an innings in T20Is. Alex Richard Cusack had recorded figures of 3-1-3-2 for Ireland against Kenya at Belfast on August 4, 2008 (minimum twelve balls).

# Ravindra Jadeja (4-0-48-3) has produced his best bowling figures in T20Is. For the first time, he has conceded 40 runs or more in an innings in T20Is.

# Jadeja is the second Indian bowler to take three wickets against West Indies in a T20I - the first being Ashish Nehra - 3 for 35 at Bridgetown on May 9, 2010.

# With Marlon Samuels' stumping, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (439 innings) has emulated Kumar Sangakkara's tally of 127 stumpings in 637 innings in international cricket. Both share a world record for most stumpings in international cricket. Romesh Kaluwitharana is the only other wicketkeeper to have 100 stumpings in international cricket - 101 in 275 innings.

# Dwayne Bravo's second golden duck is his third duck in T20Is.

# Chris Gayle, with 154 runs at an average of 51.33 in three matches, is the top run-scorer in West Indies-India T20Is.

# Shikhar Dhawan has recorded his first duck in T20Is.

# Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were involved in a stand of 106 - India's highest for any wicket against West Indies in T20Is, outstripping the 71 for the fifth wicket between Subramaniam Badrinath and Rohit Sharma at Port of Spain on June 4, 2011.

# The 106-run stand is India's highest for the second wicket in T20Is - their second highest for any wicket, next only to the 136 for the first wicket between Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag against England at Durban on September 19, 2007.

# Virat (54 off 41 balls) has recorded his third fifty at the World Twenty20 - his fifth in T20Is.

# Virat is averaging 55.00 in seven matches at the World Twenty20 - his tally being 275 at a strike rate of 122.76.

# Rohit Sharma (62 not out off 55 balls) has posted his fifth fifty at the World Twenty20 - his sixth in T20Is.

# Rohit is averaging 58.87 at the World Twenty20 - his aggregate being 471 in 16 innings. Amongst the batsmen with 400 runs or more at the World Twenty20, his average is the highest.

# Amit Mishra has got his second Man of the Match award in T20Is - both in succession - vs Pakistan and the West Indies.

# Mishra's figures of two for 18 are his best in T20Is, bettering the two for 22 vs Pakistan at Dhaka on March 21, 2014.
