I had foreseen the problem of Kochi franchise, tweets Modi
Lalit Modi on Saturday hit out at the Cricket Board and said he had anticipated the problem brewing up in the Kochi franchise.

Former Indian Premier League Commissioner Lalit Modi on Saturday hit out at the Cricket Board and said he had anticipated the problem brewing up in the Kochi franchise.
BCCI President Shashank Manohar has show-caused the Kerala-based second-most costliest IPL franchise to incorporate their joint venture in 10 days or face action from the Board.
Reacting to the latest twist from BCCI, Modi in his twitter account posted: "Kochi franchise -- just as I predicted. I had for(e)seen this. Uncanny -- it is happening now. and this started all the show causes."
He further stated, "Show cause should be issued to people who forced this agreement to be signed in the first place."
A consortium of owners, including Rendezvous Sports World had won the Kochi IPL franchise in March with a bid of Rs 1530 crore.
Controversy had dogged the new team following a spat between former Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor and Modi over the ownership of RSW.
Sunanda Pushkar, now wife of Tharoor, had held 18 per cent free equity in the RSW and had returned it after the controversy broke out and Tharoor resigned.
