New Delhi:
Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on Monday guaranteed "full security" to Australian and Pakistani players in India following the Shiv Sena's threats to them.
"Let Australian players come to India. Let Pakistani players come to India. Let them play in Mumbai and I will guarantee them full security," Chidambaram told reporters.
The assurance follows the Sena's threat that it would not allow Australian players to play in IPL matches after the spate of attacks on Indians in that country.
The Sena has also opposed Pakistani players playing in India because of Islamabad's alleged support to anti-India terror activities.
