The Dalai Lama was in attendance at the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers at the HPCA Stadium. And even though the Tibetan spiritual leader has made his presence at the game, whether he really enjoys the sport is a question.

In an interview during the match, the Dalai Lama left everyone surprised and smiling. He was asked, "Do you know a certain Sachin Tendulkar"? After a slight pause he replied, "No, I don't remember!"

Earlier, the Dalai Lama entered the stadium in the company of Kings XI Punjab owner and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and HPCA President Anurag Thakur.

The Tibetan leader, dressed in his usual maroon and yellow robes, gave scarves and his blessings to the players of both teams ahead of the match.
