Glenn Maxwell slammed a sensational century to equal India skipper Rohit Sharma's world record during the second T20I encounter against West Indies in Adelaide on Sunday. This was Maxwell's fifth century in the shortest format of the sport and he became only the second batter ever after Rohit to achieve the massive feat. Maxwell looked in supreme form as he scored 120 off 55 deliveries with the help of 12 boundaries and 8 sixes. The knock was filled with exciting shots and thanks to his blistering innings, Australia posted their highest T20I total against West Indies - 241/4 in 20 overs.

Following the knock, Maxwell said that he had some 'cursed' outings in Adelaide and expressed his happiness at playing such an impressive knock with his parents watching from the stands.
"It's nice, got my parents here as well. I have had a few cursed Adelaide trips with them coming over to watch me. I broke my leg the last time they tried to come over to Adelaide. So it's nice to have made this a positive one," Maxwell told the broadcasters.
West Indies skipper Rovman Powell won the toss and chose to bowl.
The hosts won the first match in Hobart on Friday by 11 runs on the back of a blistering 70 from David Warner and Adam Zampa's three wickets for 26.
