Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir has been reprimanded for breaching the Indian Premier League's (IPL) Code of Conduct after his team's victory over Rajasthan Royals at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday night.
The offence relates to comments made by Gambhir at the post-match presentation ceremony following the match on Wednesday night. He had called Rajasthan Royals an "ordinary side" after their 67-run win.
All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and/or a fine of up to 50% of the player's match fee.
