Former Test captain Mark Taylor back on Cricket Australia board

Former Test captain Mark Taylor was Friday recruited back onto Cricket Australia's board following a change in Cricket NSW's constitution.
Taylor, who had been a member of the CA board since 2004, lost his place last year when the national entity was streamlined to nine members.
But Cricket New South Wales have now altered the organisation's rules so they can nominate an independent representative for a place on the CA board that is not from the state organisation's board.
"I commend the Cricket NSW board and delegates for having the foresight to amend the constitution," Cricket NSW chairman John Warn said.
"He (Taylor) has integrity, knowledge and standing in the cricket world and will be of tremendous value to both Cricket NSW and Cricket Australia."
Taylor played 104 Tests for Australia between 1988 and 1999, scoring 7,525 runs at an average of 43.49, with a highest score of 334 not out.
