India batsman Virender Sehwag expects to recover from his shoulder injury for the home series against West Indies in November. Speaking on the sidelines of inaugurating his school and a cricket academy, Sehwag told NDTV that the team physio needs to give his clearance for the ace batsman to play.
Sehwag has had two operations on his shoulder and is currently undergoing rehabilitation. "I am hoping that I will be fine for the West Indies series but rehab is still going on," he said. "Team physio Nitin Patel needs to give me clearance for me to announce my return."
Sehwag had earlier said that he is missing on-field action and is itching for a return. He, however, is not in the mood to rush his recovery and has set a reasonable time-frame of over a month by which he expects to reach full fitness levels.
