ENG vs AUS 1st Test Day 4 Highlights, Ashes 2019: Steve Smith played a stupendous 142-run knock on Day 4 of the Ashes opener.

England, chasing the target of 398 runs, reached 13/0 against Australia at stumps on Day 4 of the Ashes opener at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Sunday. Rory Burns (7) and Jason Roy (6) were at the crease with England needing 385 runs to win the first Ashes 2019 match. Australia declared their second innings at 487/7 after Steve Smith and Matthew Wade scored a century each. Steve Smith, continuing his batting brilliance, smashed his 25th Test ton. He departed after scoring an impressive 142-run knock, laced with 14 boundaries. Chris Woakes provided the major breakthrough to England. Matthew Wade also was in sublime touch and scored his 3rd Test ton. His 110-run inning was studded with 17 boundaries. For England, Ben Stokes was the leading wicket taker with three wickets.
