Champions League Commissioner Lalit Modi on Wednesday said this year's edition of the Twenty20 tournament will start on September 10.

New Delhi:

Champions League Commissioner Lalit Modi on Wednesday said this year's edition of the Twenty20 tournament will start on September 10 even though he did not disclose the venue.

"Champions League 2010 dates are finalised as Sep 10-Sep 26 this year," Modi said on his Twitter page.

He said the dates were finalised according to vacant slot in the Future Tours Programme.

The event, however, clashes with Pakistan's ODI series against England, besides the English county season.
