New Delhi:

Shane Bond, who made a grand comeback to the New Zealand team in the first Test against Pakistan has been ruled out of the remainder of the series with an abdominal tear.

The 34-year old injury prone fast bowler, who returned to the team for the first time since 2007, took 8 wickets in the Dunedin Test, which the Kiwis won by 32 runs.

However, he will play no further part in the remainder of the 2 Tests.

Bond's career has always been marred by injuries, restricting his Test career to just 18 Tests, despite making his debut way back in 2001.
