TENDULKAR says it was a fantastic game. Feels that Ricky Ponting and Jacques Kallis played well in the end. But maintains that they were in the game till the final over. Praises Sanga for playing well early on for Warriors. There was dew and hence it was getting slippery according to Tendulkar. Thanks everybody for the support that has made it special. Says that people love cricket, even if it is in America. Credits the crowd for support. Blasters bowlers had things in control towards the end before losing the plot against the Ponting-Kallis pair. Swann was the pick of the bowlers while Murali and Hooper too chipped in with some tight bowling. However, in the end, the end overs proved too costly as the Warriors held their nerve. Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony.
What a finish! Warriors came back with a bang in the final overs to grab a tense win. That also means a 3-0 whitewash victory for Warne's men. Sangakkara and Symonds set the plaftorm early in the innings with some clean hitting. But the Blasters' spinners kept their side in the hunt as the scoring rate was strangled. However, after an initial struggle, Ponting and Kallis bludgeoned the bowlers around the park to ensure another victory for the Warriors.
SIX! FINISHES IT IN STYLE! Floats it up on middle and leg, Warne steps out to that one and flogs it over deep mid-wicket for a big maximum. WARRIORS WIN BY 4 WICKETS.
Fires it full around off, Ponting goes across and drills it down the ground to long on for a single.
WARNE is in.
