Mumbai Indians Missed Rohit Sharma, Says John Wright
After being beaten by Lahore Lions in their first Champions League T20 qualifier, Mumbai Indians head coach John Wright said the defending champions lost because of a poor start with the bat in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma, who has been ruled out due to injury.
"Well yeah, we missed Rohit. We really needed a good start. We needed pace to get good runs. We got to improve in the area we started slow. We needed more runs on the board," Wright said at the post match press conference after Mumbai Indians lost by six wickets to Pakistan side here on Saturday. (Read more)

Stand-in skipper Pollard feeling the heat
Having started their campaign in the Champions League Twenty20 with a loss on Sunday, Mumbai Indians captain Kieron Pollard conceded that pressure would be on his side as they will have to win their next two matches to make it to the tournament proper.
"We have to now win both our next two matches. For us, it is going to be like finals in the next two games," Pollard said after his side's six-wicket loss at the hands of Lahore Lions in their opening match of the qualifying round.
"Pressure is on us now, we have never won Champions League T20 easy. It is important that we bring our A-game tomorrow," said Pollard. (Read more)
