Champions League T20: Kane Williamson Wants Northern District to Improve Despite Win

Northern District's Kane Williamson, who steered the New Zealand side to victory in the fist qualifier of Champions League T20 against Southern Express here on Saturday, said his team struggled a bit with fielding. (Full match report)
"Yeah, we dropped a few (catches)...it was a really good experience for all of us, really, and there are a lot of young players, so perhaps a few nerves.
"A few catches went down early, but it was nice to regain our focus and finish off strong with the ball and then come out confidently with the bat," said Williamson in the post-match conference.

"The way they started, we thought they would get a few more. But we bowled really well in the middle. I think, our bowling was about two halves: started off pretty poorly, finished off really strong," Williamson said.
