George Bailey and his men put on a good show against Hobart Hurricanes to start their campaign on a winning note in the tournament. Catch all the highlights here (SCORECARD):
23:30 (IST): "Didn't get off to a good start with the bat. With the ball we gave it a good crack," said Tim Paine. George Bailey was impressed by his team's performance and did not hide his glee.
"A terrific innings from Maxwell and Perera there, it takes some courage to come out when your team is in a bit of trouble and go for your shots. I think Hobart have a very nice team, they lost today but they can challenge. Anureet Singh didn't get much of a chance in the IPL with a broken thumb, he was outstanding with the ball, that one over at the death. We slotted back in really quickly, not our best game with the bat but we will get better," he said.
23:28 (IST): Man of the Match Thisara Perera is pleased with his effort.
"I'm really happy to be back in the side, last year I had international duties so I couldn't play much. Everyone expect me to bowl (well), then the batting," he said.

MITCHELL JOHNSON TO MISS OUT
Cricket Australia has advised that Mitchell Johnson will not immediately join the Kings XI Punjab in India at the Champions League Twenty20 due to a rib injury. The Aussie pacer has in recent times terrorised batsmen with his pace and aggression.
"As such he has had a break from bowling since returning to Australia and having regular treatment to resolve the problem. He has not fully recovered as yet and will be reviewed over the next week."
CA's Executive General Manager Team Performance Pat Howard said: "Due to medical advice Mitch has not been released to play in the CLT20 tournament at this time. A decision on his release to play for the Kings XI will depend on how he responds to treatment." (Read: Kings XI Punjab to Miss Mitchell Johnson Indefinitely)
