Badminton star Jwala Gutta is all set to marry actor Vishnu Vishal on April 22 this year. Jwala and Vishal, who got engaged in September 2020, took to their respective social media handles to convey the news. Jwala, 37, winner of the 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medal and Arjuna Award recipient, got engaged on her birthday last year. "With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing the news of our marriage, in a private affair in presence of near and dear," Jwala Gutta wrote on her Twitter post.
The post further read, "We are getting married. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek blessings as we embark on this journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness."

Jwala had stitched together a formidable doubles combination with Ashwini Ponnappa and the duo had recorded several successes at the international level.
Vishal latest action thriller, 'Kaadan' features the likes of Rana Daggubati, Zoya Hussein, Pulkit Samrat, and Kalki Koechlin. The Hindi version of the film is named 'Haathi Mere Saathi' while the Telugu version is named 'Aranya'.
