Also missing from the list of players who practiced at the outdoor nets of the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium in Motera were Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and newcomer Varun Aaron who had taken a short break after the second match at Visakhapatnam to go home.
The Indian players who practiced on Sunday at the nets were wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel, who opened the innings with Sehwag in the first two games, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina, Rahul Sharma, Abhimanyu Mithun, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Vinay Kumar and Manoj Tiwary.

India are 2-0 ahead in the five-match rubber and another victory by the home team would end the competitive interest in the series.
