Teen sensation Yuki Bhambri annexed Osaka Mayor Cup singles title after beating local favourite Hiroki Moriya in the final of the World Super Junior Tennis Championships in straight sets in Osaka, Japan on Sunday.

The top seeded Indian beat second seed Japanese 6-2 6-3 in the hard court event.

The win will fetch Yuki 250 ranking points, which will catapult him to the top-five zone in the world junior rankings. He is presently placed at number 18.

Yuki and his Chinese Taipei partner Liang-Chi Huang had ended runners up in the doubles competition after losing the final to Croatian pair of Marin Draganja and Vedran Ljubicic.

The top seeded pair lost 5-7 6-7 (3) to the eighth seeded opponents.
