Sania Mirza to Guide Young Tennis Talents From Uttar Pradesh
Sania Mirza met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and discussed about the possibilities to open a tennis academy in either Noida or Lucknow.

In a meeting with Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, she agreed to his request to extend her expertise in harnessing sporting talent in the state.
The two also discussed the possibilities of setting up of a tennis academy in either Noida or Lucknow.
Akhilesh Yadav told Sania that his government was promoting sports and encouraging sportspersons and that an international cricket stadium was taking shape in Lucknow and a similar stadium would be built for football.
Pointing out that the state had a lot of talent and scope for tennis for which the state government was actively considering making available infrastructure and necessary training facilities, he requested Sania to provide guidance and coach budding tennis players, and she agreed to extend all possible cooperation to the endeavour.
