Sania Mirza and her Czech partner Barbora Strycova have entered the final of the Wuhan Open tennis tournament in China.

The Indo-Czech pair beat Chinese Taipei duo Hao-Ching Chan/Yung-Jan Chan 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 to enter the women's doubles title clash.

Earlier, Sania and Barbora defeated the Hungarian-Kazakh duo of Times Babos and Yaroslava Shvedova 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) on Friday.

Sania Mirza and Barbora Strycova are the third seeds in this tournament. They took just one hour and 18 minutes to win their quarterfinal match.

Sania and Barbora had a higher percentage of first serves to win a tight match. The second set was particularly well fought.

The Chinese Taipei duo of Hao-Ching and Yung-Jan had beaten the American team of Raquel Atawo and Abigail Spears 6-3, 0-6, 10-4 in the quarter-finals.
