Sania-Bopanna in mixed doubles third round
India's Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna defeated England's Jamie Murray and Jarmila Gajdosova of Australia 7-6, 6-2 to move into the third round of mixed doubles in Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday.

India's Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna defeated England's Jamie Murray and Jarmila Gajdosova of Australia 7-6, 6-2 to move into the third round of mixed doubles in Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday. (Also read: Sania-Elena in Wimbledon semi-finals)
The sixth seeded Indian pair will now take on the Czech Republic's Martin Damm and Renata Voracova.
Earlier, Sania and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina entered the semifinals of women's doubles. They edged past the Spanish pair of Nuria Llagostera Vives and Arantxa Parra Santonja 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
Fourth seeds Sania-Vesnina, who finished runners-up in the French Open, got the better of Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in the third round on Tuesday.
