Saketh Myneni Reaches Vietnam Open Semi-finals
Saketh Myneni defeated Tristan Lamasine 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 in the quarter-finals of the Vietnam Open.

Saketh Myneni dispatched Frenchman Tristan Lamasine in a three-setter to progress to the singles semi-finals of the ATP Vietnam Open and later combined with compatriot Sanam Singh to make the doubles last four also, here on Friday. (Saketh Myneni Enter Vietnam Open quarter-finals)
Fourth seed Myneni overcame the challenge of his singles rival 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 in one hour and 35 minutes in the quarter-finals of the $50,000 hard court tournament.
Up next for the Indian is fifth Italian Thomas Fabbiano, who knocked out top seed and world number 85 Marcel Granollers from Spain 6-3 6-4.
It will be third semifinal on the Challenger tour for Myneni this season. He had reached the last-four stage at Samarkand and Batman (Turkey) events.
He had also ended a runner-up at Izmir event. Saketh is only Indian surviving in the singles event following defeats of Sanam Singh, Somdev Devvarman, Sumit Nagal and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan.
Later in the day, Sanam and Saketh, seeded third, rallied to beat Italian qualifiers Alessandro Bega and Fabbiano 5-7 6-4 10-5 in the quarterfinals.
