The Indo-Croatian pair of Sania Mirza and Mate Pavic advanced to the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles event at the Wimbledon on Sunday.

France's Kristina Mladenovic and Croatia's Ivan Dodig were crowned Australian Open mixed doubles champions Friday with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Australian pair Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler.

The Indian pair defeated Dodig and Melo in straight sets to win the tournament. Bopanna and Ramanathan defeated Dodig and Melo 7-6, 6-1 here at the Centre Court.

The Indians will now lock horns with top seeds Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Brazilian Marcelo Melo in the summit clash of the of the ATP 250 event

In the WTA event, being run simultaneously, Sania Mirza and Shuai Peng have reached the semifinals with a 6-3 6-7(1) 10-3 win over Irina-Camelia Begu and Raluca Olaru.

Sania Mirza advanced to the third round of both the women's and mixed doubles events, while Rohan Bopanna and Purav Raja also won their respective mixed doubles matches
