Agnieszka was her usual fighting self and today she edged Ajla Tomlajanovic 6-4 to help Indian Aces consolidate lead.
The defending champions changed their mixed doubles pairing as Sania Mirza combined with Ivan Dodig instead of Bopanna and they prevailed 6-4 against Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Jarmila Gajdosova.
Bopanna came back to action for the men's doubles with Dodig and they faced stiff resistance from Roger-Vasselin and Treat Huey before wining via shoot out. The Indian team won the shootout 7-2.
The defending champions had sealed the tie and the men's singles was rendered inconsequential. But Bernad Tomic closed the contest for the Indian team on a winning note with a 6-4 victory over big-serving Ivo Karlovic.
