New Delhi:

India's Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi won the doubles event at the Paris Masters on Sunday. They beat French pair of Nicolas Mahut and Julien Benneteau in straight sets.

The win, which close to the heels of them becoming the seventh team to qualify for the prestigious Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, was effortless and showed the form that the two have been enjoying recently. Despite home advantage being against Bopanna and Qureshi, the two players never let Mahut-Benneteau pose a challenge.

The 6-2, 6-4 win gives the IndoPak Express a career high World No. 5 when the ATP rankings are updated on Monday.
