Kanpur:

Gujarat Lions all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been penalised 50 percent of his match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team's match against Mumbai Indians at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Saturday night.

Bravo admitted to the Level 2 offence (Article 2.2.7) for inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a player in the course of play during a match.

Bravo seemed to nudge compatriot Kieron Pollard while the latter was batting. Gujarat went on to win the match to book their berth in the IPL 2016 playoffs.

For Level 2 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the match referee's decision is final and binding.
