With the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League only a few days away, there have been some interesting new themes for this tournament. The addition of two new teams, Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina respectively, make the IPL 2016 compelling. 1 Shahrukh Khan's AMI KKR
The new battle cry of Kolkata Knight Riders, the two-time Indian Premier League champions, sees bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan talking about the passion of the people for the game of cricket in Kolkata.
2 Rising Pune Supergiants Anthem
Rising Pune Supergiants, the new team that will be led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has used the warrior spirit of Maharashtra to good effect. This anthem makes the fans feel like Supergiants.
3 Gujarat Lions Team Anthem, "Game Maari Chhe"
The Gujarat Lions are one of the new teams to feature in the 2016 edition. Owned by Intex Director Keshav Bansal, the franchise will be based in Rajkot. The official team anthem is "Game Maari Chhe". The video shows a montage of a fan waving the Gujarat Lions flag in the backlanes of Rajkot and it features paintings of Ravindra Jadeja, the local lad and Suresh Raina. It ends with shots of the Gujarati Garba at the Saurashta Cricket Association
4 The New IPL Advertisement
The Indian Premier League is a carnival and this has been demonstrated wonderfully in this new advertisement for the 2016 edition. Using giant figurines of all the major players, combined with a catchy beat, makes this ad a must watch.
