# The above stand is the fourth highest for any wicket for Pakistan in T20Is.

# Gautam Gambhir is the leading run-getter in India-Pakistan T20Is - 118 at an average of 29.50 in four matches.

# Gambhir and Rahane have shared a stand of 77 for the first wicket - India's highest for any wicket against Pakistan in T20Is, eclipsing the 74 between Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli for the second wicket at Colombo (RPS) on September 30, 2012.

# Saeed Ajmal, with 71 wickets at an average of 15.73 in 49 matches, is the leading wicket-taker in T20Is.  He became the first bowler to complete 25 wickets (ave.13.96) in 15 T20Is this year.

# Pakistan's splendid five-wicket win is their first in four games against India in T20Is.

# India (133/9) have registered their lowest total against Pakistan in T20Is.

# Ajinkya Rahane (42 off 31 balls) has posted his second highest score in T20Is - his only fifty being 61 against England at Manchester on August 31, 2011.

# Umar Gul's excellent figures of 3 for 21 are the second best for Pakistan against India in T20Is - the best being 4 for 18 by Mohammad Asif at Durban on September 14, 2007.

# Umar's above performance is his best against India in T20Is - his aggregate being six at an average of 17.66 in four games - the best by a Pakistani bowler against India in T20Is.

# Umar Akmal has recorded his fifth duck in T20Is - his first against India.

# Bhuvneshwar Kumar has produced an economy rate of 2.25 - the best by an Indian bowler on T20I debut, eclipsing the 3.75 by Zaheer Khan (4-0-15-2) against South Africa at Johannesburg on December 1, 2006.

# Kumar and West Indian, Garey Mathurin are the only bowlers to bag three wickets besides producing an economy rate of 2.25 on T20I debut in four overs.  Mathurin's figures on debut were 4-0-9-3 against England at The Oval on September 25, 2011.

# Kumar's superb figures of 4-0-9-3 are the best by an Indian fast bowler on debut in a T20I - the second best by an Indian bowler on debut, behind Pragyan Ojha's 4 for 21 against Bangladesh at Nottingham on June 6, 2009.

# Kumar's above figures are the second best by a bowler in a losing cause on T20I debut - the best are 4 for 19 by Kaushalya Weeraratne for Sri Lanka against Pakistan at King City on October 11, 2008.

# Mohammad Hafeez (61 off 44 balls) has posted his first fifty as captain in 12 T20Is - his third fifty in T20Is - two against Zimbabwe and one against India.  The said knock is his second highest in T20Is, behind the 71 off 48 balls against Zimbabwe at Harare on September 16, 2011.

# Hafeez has established a record for the highest individual innings by a Pakistani player against India in T20Is.

# Hafeez has received his fifth Man of the Match award in T20Is.

# India have lost nine wickets for 47 runs - 77 for no loss to 124 for nine - the worst collapse in T20Is.

# Shoaib Malik (57 not out off 50 balls) has recorded his third fifty in T20Is - one each against India, Sri Lanka and Australia.  His innings is his highest score in T20Is - his other two half-centuries are 57 against Sri Lanka on September 17, 2007 and 52 not out against Australia on September 18, 2007 - both at Johannesburg.

# After recording 58 against Australia in the Hobart Test
in January 2010, Shoaib Malik has posted his first fifty in 41 international innings.

# Two Pakistani batsmen have registered fifties in the same innings against India for the first time in T20Is.  The said occasion is their fifth in T20Is.
