India vs England Highlights, 1st Test, Day 3: England were 316/6 at stumps on Day 3 after Ollie Pope and Ben Foakes put a strong rearguard to frustrate India.

India vs England Highlights, 1st Test, Day 3:Â Ollie Pope's unbeaten 148 on Day 3 has given England a ray of hope after conceding a 190-run lead in the first innings. England were 316/6 at stumps on Day 3 after Pope and Ben Foakes put a strong rearguard to frustrate India. The pair added 112 for the sixth wicket before Axar Patel got the breakthrough. Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed half-centuries as India gained a 190-run lead over England in the first innings. After Jaiswal and Rahul missed centuries, Jadeja too was dismissed on 87 by Joe Root, who ended with figures of 4/79 (Scorecard)
