Statistical highlights from a day when Cheteshwar Pujara and Monty Panesar delivered splendid performances on a track that favoured spin.

# Cheteshwar Pujara, for the first time, has recorded hundreds in consecutive Tests - 206 & 41 in the Ahmedabad Test and 114 - all unbeaten innings against England.

# Pujara became the eleventh Indian to register two or more centuries in a Test series against England.  Azharuddin had recorded three in 1984-85 and Dravid twice - in 2002 and 2011.

# Pujara's unbeaten 114 is his third hundred in Tests - his first was against New Zealand - 159 at Hyderabad.

# Pujara took his run-aggregate to 361 in three innings without being dismissed - the most in the current series.

# Pujara's tally of 361 in the current series is his best performance in Tests.

# Virender Sehwag (30) has recorded his highest score against England at Wankhede Stadium.

# Yuvraj Singh has posted his seventh duck in Tests - his first against England.

# Ravichandran Ashwin has recorded his first fifty against England - his second in Tests.  His unbeaten 60 is his third highest score in Tests - his best being 103 against the West Indies in the 2011-12 Mumbai Test.

# Sachin's bowled dismissal is his 52nd.  Only India's Rahul Dravid (55) and Australia's Allan Border (53) have recorded more bowled dismissals in Tests.

# Panesar's excellent figures of four for 91 are his best against India in Tests.

# Pujara and Ashwin were associated in a stand of 97 (unbroken) for the seventh wicket - India's second highest against England at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, next only to the 235 between Ravi Shastri and Syed Kirmani in November 1984.
