# Cheteshwar Pujara, for the first time, has recorded hundreds in consecutive Tests - 206 & 41 in the Ahmedabad Test and 114 - all unbeaten innings against England.
# Pujara became the eleventh Indian to register two or more centuries in a Test series against England. Azharuddin had recorded three in 1984-85 and Dravid twice - in 2002 and 2011.
# Pujara's unbeaten 114 is his third hundred in Tests - his first was against New Zealand - 159 at Hyderabad.
# Pujara took his run-aggregate to 361 in three innings without being dismissed - the most in the current series.
