Graeme Swann feels the need to beat India in India is the real test for his side. The spinner however, is confident that his team with some players 'who have barely hit puberty' is up to the task.
Swann was quoted by ESPN Cricinfo as saying that he is surprised by how young some of his teammates are. "When they take their tops off you can see they've barely started puberty," he is believed to have said about some of his ODI teammates. While a 2-0 win in the 5-match ODI series is perhaps, reflective of the fact that age does not matter when players posses high skill and a thirst to win, the England player has expressed his intent previously on performing in the sub-continent.
Ben Stokes is the youngest member of the current England team and is 20 years old, followed by wicket-keeper Craig Kieswetter (23) and Eoin Morgan (24). Although Stokes is yet to create any prolific impact, Morgan was chosen to lead the England side in a recent match against Ireland while Kieswetter has been donning the gloves with considerable success for his team.
