Shane Warne lauds England, backs India
Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has congratulated the England team for becoming the World No. 1 Test side after beating India by an innings and 242 runs in the third Test in Birmingham.

Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has congratulated the England team for becoming the World No. 1 Test side after beating India by an innings and 242 runs in the third Test in Birmingham.
"England deserve to be number 1 team in the world - they have a hunger, passion and play with an intensity - nice to watch them play," Warne posted on his Twitter page.
He, however, backed the Indian team to learn from their mistakes.
"Feel for India - but also feel they have let themselves down-have not played with any desire or fight Hopefully they learn from this series," Warne wrote.
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan also congratulated the players.
"Well done to the England team.. No1 test team.. Outstanding achievement..Congrats to all the players and backroom team," Vaughan tweeted.
